EmmaRoyds 2021

Is it time to start thinking about EmmaRoyds 2021? Will we be able to gather en-mass and celebrate?

What are your thoughts?

Afternoon Tea PrepIts less than four weeks now until EmmaRoyds. Emma’s already working on the afternoon tea. The marquee has been ordered, and the tables and chairs. We’ve had a much greater interest in afternoon tea, far more than we original estimated, so may have to get a bigger marquee, more china, or have two sittings.

Everything else is more or less in place, but we are going to have a busy few days leading up to the day.

We hope to see the predicted best summer in 100 years making EmmaRoyds 2016 even better.

EmmaRoyds 2016 is almost upon us.

This year – on 2 and 3 July 2016, we’re going to try to make it a special one. It’s not only a good excuse to catch up with one and other, it’s also a big birthday celebration for us. So, we’re hoping that you’ll be able to come along and join us in the fun!

Keep visiting this page to find out more about the weekend. We’ll post more information as we confirm things but for those of you who’ve been before, we’re hoping to have all the things that we’ve done before plus a little bit extra – this is a BIG clebration, after all! So, alongside the bouncy castle, slide, ice-cream van and  usual over sized bonfire, we’re hoping to put on a few more fun things to keep everyone generally amused.  Even though we’ll be laying on a bit of food and drink,  we can’t necessarily cater for everyone’s dietery (or alcoholic) requirements, so please bring along your favourite tipple, and anything you want to throw onto the BBQ on Sunday.

If anyone has photos of previous EmmaRoyds to share, let Roy have the files and he’ll create a photo page on this site.

Sadly, all of our bedrooms have now been allocated but you’re more than welcome to camp in the garden (see camp site page) and there are quite a few cheap hotels and B&Bs in the area, so if you can’t quite face the prospect of stagering into a sleeping bag after a night of fun and frolicks and also don’t fancy the prospect of staying up all night to greet the dawn (it has been done!) then we recommend making an early booking.

We’re MASSIVELY looking forward ot seeing you on 2 and 3 July!

Emma and Roy x
