See what’s happening throughout the day
On the day
We’d love for you to join us for Afternoon Tea — the heart of the day and where everything begins.
We’ll start with tea, drinks, and a spread of sweet and savoury bites in a relaxed, open setting. It’s a chance to arrive, settle in, and enjoy time together at an easy pace.
As the afternoon unfolds, things will naturally shift into the evening — the music will pick up, the drinks will keep flowing, and the atmosphere will turn more celebratory. If you’re still feeling hungry, there’ll be plenty of food available from the various stalls in the garden and if you don’t fancy staying in the marquee, there’ll be other things to divert you…and of course, plenty to drink, whatever your poison.
Later in the evening, it’ll be time to put on your dancing shoes as Holly Rolfe, the Swing Commanders and (naturally) Bootleg Abba attempt to raise the roof before the grand finale – yes, fireworks!
Come as you are, and stay as long as you like — we’re can’t wait to celebrate with you.

What to Wear
The whole event is intended to be informal and relaxed – and although we have contingencies in place for wet weather, EmmaRoyds is essentially a party in the garden, so please bear this in mind when planning your outfit (especially your shoes)! Don’t forget to bring at least one sweater but please feel free to wear as much spangle as you want – it is a celebration, after all!
…..and Finally
Sadly, geography and the passage of time means that not everyone who helped us to celebrate our marriage on 23 June 2001 will be able to join us on 4 July. However, we have invited as many as we can and if you were there, we’re very much hoping that you’ll be able to come along and be part of a ‘survivors’ photo’!
